Easy-Laser® E930 Extruder
The E930 Extruder system is designed to measure straightness of the extruder tube as well as the alignment between the gearbox and tube (also can also measure hydraulic pipes). This well-thought-out designed system ensures that the measurement procedure is quick and accurate. Diameters down to 50 mm can be measured (accessory detector available for diameters down to 20 mm) at a range of up to 40 m. During the alignment procedure both detector and spindle are rotated, thus self calibrating the system. This way you can determine how the centre line of the spindle is, relative to the tube’s centre at the inlet end. It truly is a cost-effective solution to mis-alignment. The power savings alone will pay for it!

Easy-Laser® E930 Extruder Programs
The Easy-Laser® E930 Extruder system comes with all programs and functions for your measurement and (belt & shaft) alignment needs.
Horizontal - For the alignment of horizontal machines by the 9-12-3 o’clock method.
Soft Foot - With this program you can check that the machine is properly resting on all feet and will show which foot should be corrected (if necessary).
Thermal Growth Compensation - Compensates for difference in thermal growth between machines. This is a sub-program in the machine train program.
Tolerance Check - Checks the offset and angle values towards a selected tolerance. Shows graphically when the alignment is within tolerance.
Measurement Value Filter - Advanced electronic filter function for accurate measurement results, even in bad measuring conditions like air turbulence and vibration.
EasyTurn™ - For the alignment of horizontal machines. Allows complete measurement with only 40° rotation of the shafts.
Cardan - Shows angular errors and adjustment value on cardan-shaft-coupled/centre-offset machines. (Requires
Vertical - For measurement of vertical and flange-mounted machines.
Machine Train - For the alignment of between two and ten machines in line (nine couplings). The entire alignment can be followed live on the screen.
Reflock™ - Any pair of feet can be locked/set as a reference. Sub-function.
Offset and Angle - Shows centre offset and angular error between two shafts, for example. Also suitable for dynamic measurements.
Values - Shows live readings from the S- and M-unit. Can be used for shaft alignment, straightness measurement and dynamic measurement. Up to four detectors can be connected in series and be zeroed individually.
Vibrometer - Shows vibration level in “mm/s” or “inch/s”, and bearing condition value in “g”. The measurement complies with vibration standard ISO10816-3. (Requires accessory Vibrometer probe D283.)
BTA Digital - For alignment of belt and chain drives. (Requires accessories BTA Digital transmitter and detector unit.)
Straightness - For quick and easy straightness measurement with predefined measurement positions. For machine
foundations, shafts, bearing journals, machine tools, etc. Can handle up to 150 measuring points with two zero points.
Straightness Plus - Versatile program with advanced functions. Measurement points can be added, deleted or remeasured anytime during the measurement. The reference line can be offset set. For use as described above.
Flatness - Program to measure flatness/twist of (for example) machine foundations, machine tables, etc. Can handle up to 300 measuring points with three zero points.
Squareness - For measurement of squareness in machines and installations.
Parallelism - For measurement of parallelism between rolls, machine ends, etc. Can handle up to 150 rolls/measurement objects. The base line or any roll may be used as a reference. Every object can be individually named.
Parallelism Plus - Versatile program with advanced functions. Measurement objects can be added, deleted or remeasured anytime during the measurement. Includes baseline measurement function. For use as described above.
Spindle Direction - For measuring the direction in which machine spindles in machine tools, drilling machines, etc., point.
Center of Circle - Used for straightness measurement of bearing journals when the bore diameter varies. For example diesel engines, propeller shaft installations, etc.
Center of Circle Plus - Versatile program with advanced functions. Measurement points can be added, deleted or remeasured anytime during the measurement. The reference line can be offset set. For use as described above.
Half Circle - Readings are taken at three positions, for example 9, 6 and 3. Allows varying bore diameters. To be used together with the Turbine system.

Plumbline - With this program you can measure plumb (vertical) and straightness of turbine and generator shafts, for example.
Flange - For flatness measurement of flanges and circular planes, slewing ring bearings for example. Can measure up to 300 points, measurements can be taken on the inner and/or the outer circle. Three zero points at 120° pitch are computed by the system.

With cable and 220V or 110V charger. For connection to all systems with display unit D279. (Printer included as standard in systems D650 and D660.)

E285 Vibrometer Probe

Belt & Chain Alignment

With the Easy-Laser® E170 you can read and follow the alignment from where you are standing and make adjustments, instead of only where the detector is mounted. The detector reads off the position in relation to the laser plane and digitally displays the parallel and angular misalignment “live”. This makes alignment of the adjustable machine very easy. The accuracy of the reading means that you can be within the prescribed alignment tolerances and rely upon the result. Suitable for most types of belt drives, such as V-belt, timing belt, flat belt and chain drives.
Notes: There is no separate display unit included or available. The detector connects to the E418 display unit with BTA program, which for example is included in system E710. For connection the red cable of the main system is used. Wireless connection is not available. The E170 detector unit cannot be connected to the D-series display units or other equipment.
D22 Swivel Laser Transmitter

Can be used to measure flatness, straightness, squareness and parallelism. The laser beam can sweep 360° (1) with a measurement distance of up to 40 m [130’] in radius. The laser beam can also be angled 90° to the sweep (2), within 0.01 mm/m [0.5 mils/thou].

D146 Spindle Laser Transmitter

For measuring spindle direction and straightness. Can be used in a rotating spindle (max. 2000rpm). The mounting pin can be fitted at either end, for example, when aligning rod cartridges. Measurement distance: 20 metres.

Used when measuring squareness and parallelism. A penta-prism that deflects the beam 90° is integrated in an adjustable housing.
